Part of Jeep DNA is sporting the iconic seven slotted grille, and for many years the Wrangler’s grille has gone largely unchanged. However, for 2024, the Wrangler features an altered seven slotted Grill that’s much shorter than all previous models.

This update wasn’t just for style points; in true Jeep fashion, the update is actually functional. These shortened grille slots made way for the all-new available factory-installed winch. No, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. The 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon models are available with a factory-installed 8,000-pound warn winch installed directly onto the steel bumper.

2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon models also receive an increased tow rating from 3,500 pounds to 5,000 pounds. While this would usually come at the behest of more power from the engine, Wrangler Rubicon models have received an updated rear axle. Featuring an all-new “floating axle”, the rear axle of the Rubicon is more rigid and allows for more weight to be towed.
