The 2026 RAM 1500: Continuing the Award-Winning Ways

The 2025 RAM 1500 entered the market without the legendary 5.7-liter V8 Hemi engine, and drivers weren’t happy about it. Fortunately, RAM engineers and decision-makers listened, and as the new 2026 models are arriving on the lot, drivers are happy again.

Bringing Back the HEMI

The 2026 RAM 1500 is available with three engine options, including the impactful 5.7-liter V8 Hemi engine with 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. This engine is available in the Tradesman, Express, Warlock, Big Horn, Lone Star, and Laramie trims. It will soon be available in the Rebel trim.

RAM also offers two other powerful engines. The standard engine is a 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar engine paired with a 48-volt hybrid system. This engine delivers 305 horsepower. The other engine is a high-output twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six Hurricane engine with 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque. The Pentastar engine comes standard in the Tradesman, Tradesman HFE, and the Big Horn, while the Hurricane engine comes standard in the Limited, Limited Longhorn, and Tungsten trims.

New Package & Special Badging

As an homage to the drivers who demanded the return of the Hemi engine, RAM is applying a special badge to the vehicles with this engine under the hood. To show the world that a Hemi is hiding on the hood, the RAM 1500 will wear a “Symbol of Protest” badge on one fender.

Drivers who want a RAM 1500, but don’t want to pay a premium price, will have a new trim to choose: the RAM 1500 Express. This trim comes standard with the Pentastar engine, 20-inch wheels, and a few driver-assistance features like Adaptive Cruise Control and Emergency Braking.

The Express trim will be available with a special Black Express package. The package can be added to models with four-wheel drive and a Quad or Crew cab. It comes with black 20-inch wheels, black cloth bucket seats, black exterior badging, a gloss black grille, and a special Sport hood. Drivers can choose the Black Express package in Diamond Black, Bright White, Granite Crystal, Forged Blue, and Hydro Blue.

Well-Equipped, Luxurious Interiors

As always, the newest RAM 1500 will feature innovative technology and safety features. The entry-level trims have an 8.4-inch touchscreen, while the upper-level trims have a 12.0-inch or 14.5-inch touchscreen. All models come with Apple CarPlay^® and Android^™ Auto.

Shoppers can add high-tech features like a digital rearview mirror, a head-up display, and a front-passenger 10.3-inch touchscreen. All RAM 1500 models come with several USB ports. The entry-level audio system has six speakers, but several optional sound systems are available, including a 23-speaker Klipsch premium audio system.
