The 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe specs include a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine along with an electric motor powered by a 17.3-kWh battery pack. The Wrangler 4xe comes standard with four-wheel drive, four doors, and an eight-speed automatic transmission. With the hybrid powertrain, the Wrangler 4xe delivers 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.

Charging the Wrangler 4xe with a Level 2 charger takes about two hours. When fully charged the Wrangler 4xe delivers approximately 21 miles of all-electric range. Including the hybrid powertrain, the Wrangler 4xe has an EPA-estimated combined fuel rating of 49 MPGe, using the gas-powered engine on its own, the SUV has an EPA-estimated combined fuel rating of 20 MPG. Drivers can extend the life of the battery by using the Max Regen braking feature.

The Wrangler 4xe has three drive modes to let drivers control their engine usage. Hybrid is the default mode that uses the gas engine and electric motor to get the best fuel efficiency. E-Save lets drivers save the battery and electric motor for later use, while Electric only uses the battery and electric motor for trails and off-road fun.
